Merge Images
Put two or more pictures into one image: stacked, side by side, or in a grid. Sizes are matched automatically so nothing is letterboxed, and the files never leave your browser.

PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or BMP, up to 25MB each. Drop the whole batch at once — the order you drop them is the order they are drawn.
Presets
How it works
- 1
Drop the images
They are read with the browser's own decoders. Nothing is posted: no upload step exists on this page, so there is nothing to delete afterwards and no queue to wait in.
- 2
Choose how they join
Stack vertically for screenshots, side by side for before/after, or a grid for a set of logos. Auto-match scales each picture to a common width, height or cell so the seams line up instead of leaving bands of background.
- 3
Export and keep it
PNG keeps transparency, JPG is smaller for photos, WebP is smallest for the web. Set a gap if you want breathing room, then download one file — or a ZIP if you processed several batches.
More tools
- GIF ResizerResize a GIF — animated or still — to an exact size or half its pixels. Every frame is scaled, every frame keeps its own delay, and the file never leaves your browser.
- WebP to GIFConvert WebP to GIF, including animated WebP: every frame and every delay is carried over, so the result plays exactly like the original. Runs in your browser, no upload.
- Compress GIFMake a GIF smaller by dropping frames, cutting the palette and scaling down — the three levers that actually work. Set a size limit and the page keeps trying until it fits, in your browser.
What it won't do
- Images are matched, never cropped. A very wide screenshot beside a square one keeps its whole frame, and the canvas grows to fit — that is deliberate, because cropping is the thing you cannot undo by eye.
- Everything runs in this tab, so a batch is bounded by your device's memory. Fifty 12-megapixel photos will struggle on a laptop; two hundred thumbnails will not.
- No borders, shadows or captions yet. Those are extra draw calls this page has not been asked for, and fake-looking frames age badly.
- JPEG has no transparency: exporting to JPG fills the gaps with white rather than black, but the transparency itself is gone.
Questions
How do I combine images side by side?
Drop both files, pick Side by side, and press Merge. The two pictures are scaled to the same height — the taller one decides it — so the horizon lines match and there is no white band between them. For a before/after pair this is usually one click and no settings.
Can I stitch screenshots vertically without gaps?
Yes. Stack vertically matches every screenshot to the widest one, then draws them one under another with a gap of 0 by default. If your screenshots have different widths because of a sidebar, set Gap to 0 and auto-match to on: the narrower ones scale up rather than leaving a step.
Does merging PNG or JPG files lose quality?
PNG export is lossless: the pixels are drawn once into a canvas and written back without re-compression artefacts. JPG export re-encodes at 92% quality, which is invisible at normal viewing but is technically lossy — choose PNG if the image will be edited again, JPG if it is going on a page.
Is there a limit on how many images I can merge?
No limit set by this site, and no account needed. The real ceiling is your own memory: each picture is decoded at full size in the tab. A dozen phone photos is comfortable; a hundred is not.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. There is no upload endpoint on this page — the merge runs in JavaScript on your machine, and closing the tab leaves nothing behind. That is also why it works offline once the page has loaded.
What is the difference between merging and collaging?
Merging joins pictures edge to edge into one file with a predictable layout: stacked, side by side, or a fixed grid. A collage places them freely with overlaps and rotation. If you need free placement, this page is not it — but for screenshots, receipts and before/after pairs, a fixed layout is faster and reproducible.
